Great to hear your voice! My feeling is that audio should be expressed more simply than the written piece so maybe a slight edit ?

This dichotomy is in fact exactly a good description between the Democrats and the Republicans. Most red states are rural - many are hard-working farmers who feed the rest of us. They rarely leave their home states never mind the country. The Dems or blue voting states and areas are mostly urban, college-educated, and most have traveled outside of the USA even if for short periods of time.

I started my voting life as a Republican because that was my father's party. He worked under-cover for the CIA most of his life. We lived in California. My first husband was from New York and we met on the beach in LA. He was a democrat and he opened my eyes to other views. Ten years later, when I was divorced and supporting four children, I started to work for and travel with a company that had the largest Russian-language technical, intelligence, and military library in the U.S. I was taught to read and correct technical Russian, and speak it to a lesser degree. After 12 years and perestroika and glasnost, I ended up selling my house in Denver and moved to Moscow, Russia. Three of my four children came to Russia, and my second oldest was in college in MA. While there I voted as an Independent, and rarely felt the strong tie to either "party." By the time I returned to live in the U.S., my international views shifted to registering as a Democrat. I also felt that the U.S. had changed and the Republican Party that I grew up with no longer existed. So yes, our country can be and is both isolationist, a global leader, and a whole host of other descriptions. We are a conglomerate of people, beliefs, morals, skin-types, and different languages.

Now, unfortunately, half our country who are Republicans have succumbed to Donald Trump - a man who is 100% owned - lock, stock, and barrel - by a ruthless dictator who wishes to destroy the United States. Putin blames the U.S. for the downfall of the USSR, which he describes as the largest catastrophe of the last century.

Putin wants revenge and he is succeeding. Donald Trump is his stooge and sold his soul and our country to the Russians a long, long time ago for about $100 million. In 2008, Trump Jr bragged (www.businessinsider) that the Trump Organization had received a loan from a Russian bank for $100 million. Eric Trump confirmed this later (www.vanietyfair.com). Russian banks do not operate as U.S. banks. Trump's international knowledge was zero. Russian banks are 100% controlled and operated by the Russian KGB/FSB. They give large sums of cash to foreigners for two reasons: (1) to funnel black cash into another country's economy, and (2) to entrap and compromise that foreigner to work for Russia. This scheme works and operates just like good ole Al Capone. The interest on this loan is so large that it is never repaid so once accepted, the "foreigner" is working for the Russians for the rest of his life - and in the case of Trump, if he doesn't do what Putin asks then he or someone in his family may die. Whala - not long after Trump lost the last presidential election, Ivana Trump died from a "blunt blow to her head."

Instead of half our country believing Trump and his lies, people need to start waking up and realizing the true nature of Trump's actions and words. He is controlled by a foreign leader who wishes to destroy the American system of democracy. Trump is NOT saving American, but destroying it and it is to his benefit that Republicans are so brainwashed that they DO NOT understand or see outside of the box - our four borders.

Thanks. I think my audio started a little late, at 10.51 so maybe I missed 9 seconds? But having audio option is good but I will read over listen usually.

So this is the audio from the Feb 27th piece. I only realized it was what I had already read a few days ago when I heard the line that stood out to me then “can we afford not to” support Ukraine. I guess I suggest you consider posting the audio at the same time as the literal so knuckleheads like me won’t do both LOL

Yes that’s the plan!

Also, the recording has the empty room effect, which is common, and can be countered with a mic that is filtered (dynamic?) or even adding some barriers where you record. I’m no expert but sound quality is important. To me anyway. Keep up the good work. Enjoying it.
